about

This song was written as a response to consumerism and our current social and cultural climate. It is a reflection on the idea that we are being sold to on a constant basis through all factors of society.
The lyrics describe someone trying to find meaning in a world that is more concerned with spectacle rather than authenticity. His struggle is to maintain a sense of individuality and integrity

lyrics

We're grazing
walking meat
Our packets
are going cheap
the writings on the wall
we want it we want it all

But don't sell me
Don't sell me out

But don't sell me
Dont sell me out

Those pearly
clean white teeth
product placements
are in your dreams
those colours weren't
meant to stay
You feel worthless
till you learn to pay

Don't sell me
Don't sell me out

When Im giving all i can

Don't sell me
Don't sell me out

when Im trying to be a man

oh maybe we weren't suppose to stay
oh maybe we're denying our fate
oh why cant you hear me calling here me calling you
oh i can see you falling
slowly from grace

Don't Sell me don't sell me out
When Im giving all i can
Don't sell me Don't sell me out
When Im trying to be a man
